Everything you need to know to create events, connect with enthousiastic cosplayers, and enjoy Cosshoot fully!

How can I organise an event?

Go to “Agenda” -> “Plan a shoot!” and just put in the necessary information. If you want to get an idea of who is planning to go, enable registration and a free ticket is created by default with no maximum! This is highly recommended and makes the most use of the capabilities that we offer!

I am going to convention X, how can I make my events known?

When creating your event, make sure you select the convention you are going to in the categories. This makes it so that users can filter by convention and find your event much easier!

How do I know who is coming?

Under “Agenda” -> “My events” -> “Manage bookings” You get a full overview of your events, including an overview of people who booked tickets to your events, regardless of whether the event is free or not!

Why is the free account limited to 1 event per month?

Even though we wish we could offer everything for free, the site itself and it’s maintenance cost time and money. Because of this and also due to the fact that we want to keep improving the site, some fincancial support is needed.

What membership is right for me?

Naturally that depends on your use case, but for most meet orgnisers the Hobbyist tier will be sufficient. If you want to plan more than is offered with that tier you will need to upgrade to a higher one.

What if I change something to my event?

If you change your event, every signed up member will recieve a notification of the change.

Can I host my own small group shoot?

Yes! We encourage small intimate meetups as much as the large scale ones! Whether it’s a dedicated cosplay group, fan-meetup or just a friendly get-together, we support it. Create and manage your own photoshoots with full control over date, location, and participants.

Can I link my social media?

Currently we don’t support individual accounts, but you are free to link your socials in the description of your created events!
