How can I organise an event?
A general explaination of the process and limits of organising events can be found at the organisers info page.
How can I promote myself the best
The most important one is to become a premium member (Hobbyist tier or higher). This is because you will then become visible in our photographers directory where you can be discovered.
Do you accept promotions/collaborations?
Yes! Since the current goal is to get as many people involved in our dream we are totally open to working with photographers. The general arrangement is one of a premium account in exchange for the photographer using the site and promoting it at their shoots, however we are open for other arrangements. If you wish to contact us regarding a collaboration, you can send us an email at our contact page!
Can I show/hide my contact info publicly
Yes! You have the ability to show or hide the following information: Email, Website and an “about me” section. You can do this by going to your account -> Edit profile -> and under additional information you can submit the information you want to publicly display. If you leave it empty, it will not be displayed as missing either so you’re profile stays sleek!
What membership is right for me?
Naturally that depends on your use case, most beginner photographers will do fine with the Hobbyist tier. But if you are already established and want to use Cosshoot to improve your workflow by using our booking monitor, easy shoot promotion etc. a higher tier might fit your need better. You can view all tiers and their capabilities here.
Can I change my membership anytime?
Yes, you will be able to change your membership any time you want. If you are downgrading your membership you will naturally retain the higher tier membership for the remaining time you paid for (usually end of the billed month).
How can I get my photo’s on the site?
This feature, which is limited to the enthousiast and professional tiers, allows those members to upload a photo of their choosing onto the site. You can do this by going to “Account” -> scroll down and you will be able to see the submit area. Make sure to include the username you want shown along the foto with the foto so it can be creditted accordingly!
Can I link my social media?
Currently we don’t support individual accounts, but you are able to link your socials on the photographers as well as link them in the description of your created events!
